Dr. Marzieh Ebrahimi, in the ‘Women Accelerators in Healthcare and Medical BRICS’ Competition
Dr. Marzieh Ebrahimi, a faculty member of Royan Institute and the director of Kian immune Cell, has been recognized in the "BRICS Women's Accelerator in Health Care and Medicine" competition for her innovative idea to establish an immune cell bank aimed at treating cancer and autoimmune diseases.According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of Royan Institute, during the final ceremony of the "BRICS Women's Accelerator in Health Care and Medicine," held from October 17 to 20, 2024, in Moscow, Dr. Ebrahimi was honored by the BRICS Women's Business Alliance as one of the distinguished participants for her medical concept and her company’s creative contributions to sustainable development.
This competition aims to identify and promote the most effective female-led startups with commercial potential and innovation in BRICS member countries, enhancing their motivation for participation in entrepreneurial activities.
During the event, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, delivered a virtual speech, recognizing the BRICS Business Council as a positive and impactful initiative in the development of economic and commercial cooperation, which facilitates the strengthening of relationships and the utilization of diverse capacities within networking.
