Increasing the Impact Factor of Cell Journal Announcement

Clarivate analytics company that operates a collection of subscription-based services and is known for being the company which calculates the impact factor, announced the increasing of impact factor of Cell Journal(yakhteh). Cell Journal is an open access, peer review English publication of Royan Institute with continues increasing of its impact factor for two consecutive years. Cell Journal’s impact factor has achieved to 3.128 as its distribution has changed from quarterly to monthly. This international journal publishes original, review and systematic review, short communication, case report and editorial articles on cellular and molecular scientific areas, beside other related fields such as stem cells, regenerative medicine, genetics, and biochemistry. Cell Journal was approved as an open-access scientific-research publication by the accreditation committee of Iran Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education in 1999, and it already publishes about eight hundred peer-reviewed scientific articles. The number of citations of scientific papers is 6740 and its H-Index is 31. The researchers with the most published scientific documents in Cell Journal are Hossein Baharvand, Masoud Soleimani, Nasser Aghdami, Mohammad Hossein Nasr-Esfahani, and Saeed Abroun, with 38, 31, 24, 23, 22 articles respectively. Accordingly, 741 original articles and 37 review articles published in Cell Journal as the most frequent scientific documents so far. Each article has been cited 8.96 times on average. Iran, China, America, Turkey, India, Germany and South Korea have published the largest number of scientific documents in this journal.
