The Thirteenth Royan International Summer School

The 13th Royan International Summer School on Bioinformatics in Biomedical Research is going to be held on July 30th to August 3rd, 2022 at Royan Institute. The undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students are the target group of the hybrid summer school in which prominent national and international scientists will give lectures during the 5 days. The school is deliberately designed to cover a broad range of topics as follows:
- Introduction to bioinformatics for omics data
- Data-mining (data integration and text-mining for biomedical research)
- Genomics (gene variant discovery)
- Transcriptomics (Microarray and RNA-Seq. analysis)
- Computational biology in translational research
- Network analysis
This program is going to be organized by Dr S Tale-Ahmad as scientific Manager and Dr M Yeganeh as the executive secretary and their colleagues in Royan Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Technology. Beside the above mentioned event, a beneficial opportunity is provided for the high school students to be educated and get familiarized with bioinformatics fields in order to gain invaluable insights towards finding their area of interest for their future research in their fields. "Bioinformatics; from prediction to treatment" is going to be held virtually for 4 days from July 31st to August 3rd as the third annual summer school for high school students.
