The 26th Royan International Congress: A Platform for Transforming Ideas into International Projects

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Royan Institute, Dr. Abdolhossein Shahverdi, President of Royan Institute, emphasized during a press conference at the 26th International Congress on Reproductive Medicine and the 24th Royan International Festival that the event is not just an annual gathering, but an opportunity to transform small ideas into international projects.

He continued, "Royan Institute, through its international activities, has demonstrated that nearly 50% of the papers produced at this center result from collaborations between Iranian and foreign scientists."

Dr. Shahverdi added, "Advances in biosciences can address various challenges and facilitate knowledge exchange in this field."

Furthermore, Dr. Rouhollah Fathi, Executive Secretary of the Congress, announced that Royan Institute will host three major international scientific events in the upcoming month of September: the International Congress on Reproductive Medicine, the 21st International Congress on Stem Cell Biology and Technology, and the 24th Royan International Festival. He also stated that 602 papers had been submitted to the secretariat of these congresses, with 515 papers approved for oral and poster presentations.

Dr. Faramerz Farhi, Scientific Secretary of the International Congress on Reproductive Medicine, emphasized the importance of pre-marriage fertility assessments. Dr. Sharif Moradi, Scientific Secretary of the 21st Congress, spoke about the critical role of stem cell science in modern medicine.

In another part of the event, Dr. Parvaneh Afsharian, Executive Secretary of the Royan Festival, mentioned, "The Royan Festival is held concurrently with the congresses, and this year, 62 projects from 15 different countries have been submitted." She introduced the awardees of the festival, who were from various countries and represented diverse fields in biotechnology and stem cell research.

These congresses and festivals play a significant role in presenting the latest scientific achievements and fostering knowledge exchange between domestic and international researchers. Royan Institute plays a crucial role in advancing these goals.
