Acknowledging Leading Scientists at the Royan International Congress and Festival

The prestigious award ceremony honoring the laureates of the 26th Royan International Twin Congress and the 24th International Royan Award was held on Wednesday, September 03, at the International Conference Center of Shahid Beheshti University.

The event was attended by a number of the country’s senior scientific and research officials, including Dr. Ali Montazeri, President of ACECR (Academic Center for Education, Culture, and Research); Dr. Shahin Akhondzadeh, Deputy Minister for Research and Technology at the Ministry of Health and Medical Education; and Dr. Zahra Sheikhi, Deputy for Research and Technology at ACECR.

In this international scientific gathering, distinguished Iranian and international researchers who had presented significant achievements in the fields of stem cells, reproductive medicine, and modern life sciences were honored with the Royan Awards.

The international awardees of this edition were Heidar Heidari Khoei (Austria) and Majid Ebrahimi Warkiani (Australia). In the national category, the awards were granted to Masoumeh Esmaeilvand and Hamed Daemi (Iran). Furthermore, Hamid Sadeghi Abandansari was recognized as a commended researcher.

This ceremony once again underscored the eminent position of the Royan Institute as a pioneering institution at the forefront of knowledge and advanced medical technologies, both nationally and globally.
