Scientific Knowledge Exchange Between Royan Institute and Lorestan University at the Seminar on “Stem Cells and Reproductive Biology”
A one-day seminar entitled “Stem Cells and Reproductive Biology” was convened at Lorestan University with the participation of distinguished faculty members and researchers from the Royan Institute.Organized by the Deputy for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, the seminar was held on Saturday, December 26, and brought together a group of leading scientists from the Royan Institute to share their expertise and recent scientific advances.
The scientific program, conducted from 09:00 to 17:00, featured presentations by Dr. Abdolhossein Shahverdi, Dr. Hossein Baharvand, Dr. Masoud Vosough, Dr. Rouhollah Fathi, Dr. Amir Amiri-Yekta, Dr. Reza Moghaddas-Ali, and Dr. Sharif Moradi. The speakers addressed the latest developments and emerging research directions in biomedicine, reproductive sciences, stem cell biology, and regenerative medicine, highlighting advances at the forefront of contemporary global research.
Throughout the seminar, state-of-the-art scientific topics were presented and received with considerable interest from attending faculty members, researchers, and students. The program also included a one-hour expert panel discussion, during which Royan Institute faculty members responded to scientific questions and research-related concerns raised by participants from Lorestan University and Lorestan University of Medical Sciences, fostering constructive academic dialogue and knowledge exchange.
The seminar was attended by over 200 participants, including faculty members, researchers, and students with an interest in the life sciences and medical sciences, and provided a valuable platform for scientific interaction, collaboration, and the advancement of specialized knowledge.
