Two Royan Institute Researchers Named Among the World's Top 1 Percent Highly Cited Researchers
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Office of Royan Institute, two faculty members of the institute, Dr. Hossein Baharvand and Dr. Faezeh Shekari, were honored by the Deputy for Research and Technology of Iran’s Ministry of Health and Medical Education for being recognized among the world’s top 1% most highly cited researchers based on Clarivate’s Essential Science Indicators (ESI).This scientific distinction is based on evaluations conducted through the international Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database, based on researchers' citation counts across various scientific fields. In this evaluation system, researchers whose scientific publications have received the highest number of citations worldwide over a ten-year period are included among the world’s top 1% most highly cited researchers.
Royan Institute congratulates Dr. Hossein Baharvand and Dr. Faezeh Shekari on this valuable achievement and regards their attainment of this distinction as a testament to the significant role of the institute's researchers in advancing the frontiers of knowledge, enhancing the scientific standing of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the international stage, and continuing impactful research in the fields of life sciences, reproductive medicine, and stem cell science.
